Recovery Resource Center (formerly Tarrant Council on Alcoholism and Drug) offices out of Union Gospel Mission. Three case managers are on site under the Project Hope Grant to provide case management, assessments and referrals for substance abuse treatment.
Mental Health Retardation of Tarrant County is on site once a week to complete intake and assessments for residents to address mental health issues. Intake workers assist clients in getting services in the appropriate MHMR clinic.
Catholic Charities provides a full time case manager to work intensely with 13 of the mothers and children residing in the family center.
University of Texas Arlington uses Union Gospel Mission as a field training site for BSW level social workers. This provides students with hands on learning experience in the social work field.
North Texas Legal Aid provides free legal counseling to our residents on site once a month.
Parenting Center and Cook Children's Behavioral Staff conduct parenting classes for family center residents.
Lena Pope Home provides individual and play therapy on site weekly.
AIDS Outreach Center provides HIV testing onsite quarterly.
SAFE Haven of Tarrant County provides domestic violence group counseling.
Fort Worth Community Court for the homeless has a representative on site one time per month.
