The Annual Bowling Tournament was a Great Success!
The Apartment Association of Tarrant County held their annual bowling tournament to benefit the homeless on February 27th and, once again, AATC members helped raise over $20,000 for the Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County! The bowling tourney is not for the pros but for the people to have a good time knowing that their time and effort is going to a good cause. UGM has used the funds raised in the past to build new areas, purchase a vehicle, re-do the hvac systems, and landscape the facility. AATC members have been part of it all and many volunteer to do other things throughout the year. Every penny will be used in a positive way to help those truly in need and we are grateful for all those who came out to bowl with us! Special Thanks to EVERYONE who donated their time, money, baskets and raffle items for this event – it was a great success!
Volunteers meet Ron and Denver! Approximately 75 seniors from Graham High School came to UGM-TC on January 12th and 19th to volunteer at the mission. Ron and Denver shared special stories and messages of hope with the students, encouraging them to trust God and give to others.
